Barossa Valley, South Australia
COLOUR
Deep brick red with dusty red hues.
BOUQUET
Lifted aromas of ripe cherry and dark fruits, dark chocolate and licorice with a fine oak profile and some dusty cigar box notes.
PALATE
The 2009 Rigoletto Shiraz has a rich, complex and amazingly seamless palate. It has great fruit weight provided by abundant ripe plum, cherry and dark chocolate flavours. The flavoursome oak profile is well integrated with fine smooth tannins giving a luscious velvety mouthfeel. This wine is drinking brilliantly at the moment but will also reward some ageing.
